ABOUT DARCY
I'm Darcy. Owner and videographer at Darcy Rose Video. When I'm not shooting wedding videos for love birds, I'm teaching filmmaking and acting for the camera at my performing arts school for kids, Acting Out, or shooting editorial work for local business and universities in Ithaca, NY.
What I do:
When planning my own wedding, I was struck by how few videographers there were in this area. I felt pressured to spend oodles of money on packages I didn't want or need. I decided to use the skills and equipment I've acquired over the years to provide what I couldn't find for myself, a simple, affordable way to preserve a moving memory of a favorite day.
How it's different:
Your wedding highlight video will essentially be an extended music-video style time capsule of your day set to beautiful music.
What to expect:
I show up when the magic is just getting started. I follow you around with my camera like a creep, staying out of your photographer's way and hopefully barely even noticed by you.
In 4-6 weeks, you'll have a beautiful, 5-7 minute music-video style highlight reel of your wedding to watch on repeat and share with friends and family to your heart's delight. You'll also get a teaser that's under a minute set to royalty free music to share on social media.
